Some applications of use for Axi Etch toughened in accordance with current BCA requirements are:
Windows for privacy and decoration, Shower and Batch Surrounds, Interior Partitions, Privacy Screens, Balustrades, Louvres and many others.
Toughened glass allows for large clear spans of glass with minimum fixings. Axi Etch Toughened can withstand temperature variations of 250°C in a range of -70°C to +300°C, this basically means that toughened glass can be used in appliances, splashbacks and where thermal stress breakage is going to be an issue.
Axiom advises Heat soaking to be used in accordance with European Standard EN14179-1. (See Axi Heat Soak)

Axi Etch is manufactured with a minimum surface compression stress equal to or greater than what is set out in BCA requirements.
Minimum Panel Size:
300mm x 150mm
Maximum Panel Size:
3210mm x 2250mm
Thickness available:
4mm, 6mm, 10mm and 12mm
Axi Tough cannot be cut or edgework processed after manufacture. Tolerances of Toughened glass are set out in AS/NZS 2208.
